Josh is a long-time member of the New York State Mental Health Counselors Association (NYSMHCA) and the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). For many years he was certified in New York State as a Foster and Adoptive Parent.
Josh has been married to his better half for 17+ years and is a proud father to his three courageous, stubborn and good-looking adopted kids. He has traveled internationally to serve and empower orphaned children in countries such as Senegal, Haiti and Guatemala. These experiences inspired his wife, Elizabeth, and him to adopt three children, which thrust them into the world of Autism, Type-1 Diabetes, ADHD, Selective Mutism and premature births. As a father and natural problem solver Josh is always looking for better ways to care for his kids’ needs. Most recently his family raised $25,000 to provide a diabetic alert dog, a white lab named Molly, for his son, Andy. Josh’s passions are woodworking, entrepreneurship, and teaching and mentoring students, especially those with ADHD and Autism. Secretly, his real love, though, is long-brewed ice-cold coffee.
