The Davis College men’s soccer team knew they would have their hands full at home against the 2016 United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National Runner-Up, Bryant and Stratton College – Liverpool. The visitors came in at 4-0 on the season and lived up to the hype as they controlled the game from the start of the contest and went on to win 8-0 on Wednesday afternoon.
6 different Bryant and Stratton players scored as the attack was led by Delano Hodge and Ojai Bedward who both scored 2 goals each. Zino Zampach, Alex Pompo, Bogdan Milovanovic, and Dragan Cvetkovic all made it into the scoring column. The visitors dominated the ball as they had 28 shots compared to only 2 by Davis College.
Jackson Henri took the loss as the goalie for the Falcons but did come up with a career high 15 saves on the day.
Davis College drops to 2-6 on the season and Bryant and Stratton College remains perfect at 5-0 on the year. Next up for Davis College is a home match on Saturday, September 30, against conference opponent Vaughn College at 4:00 p.m.
