The residence halls at Davis College are a close-knit
community of students sharing life together. Davis College features two single student
residence halls, three married student apartment
buildings,
and several Upperclassmen Suites.
Single men live in Patterson Hall, our sixty-room
men’s residence hall. Single women reside in
Chatlos-Davis Hall, in living quarters located above
the main classrooms and chapel.
Each dorm room is carpeted, and features attractive wooden
furniture, including bed frame and mattress,
dresser, and student desk. Both residence halls
feature comfortable student lounges with access to
microwaves and televisions. The basement area of
Patterson Hall, which is open to all students,
houses classrooms, a larger recreation lounge, and
the school fitness center. The lounge includes a
big screen television with comfortable seating,
ping-pong and pool tables, vending machines, a
microwave and toaster oven, and indoor picnic style
tables.
Each hall is supervised by a Resident Director,
living in an apartment attached to the residence
hall. Resident Directors are responsible for the
supervision of the hall, coordinating activities,
handling maintenance issues, mentoring, and
providing accountability for resident students.
All single students under 22 are required to live on campus,
unless they are living with parents or relatives in
the community. Students are required to carry a
minimum load of 6 credits to live in the residence
halls.
For more information on either of the residence halls,
please contact the Residence Directors,
