Brittany Rowe scored a game-high 23 points for the host Falcons (3-2), who led 30-21 at halftime. Rowe's fellow Harpursville native Nikki Nesbit chipped in a team-high 12 rebounds to go along with her nine points for Davis College.

Davis College coach Debbie Bates said her team, which dressed just eight players, ran out of gas in the second half. The Falcons weren't helped either, she said, by a 10-for-23 showing at the foul line.

Brit Rowe hit four 3-pointers and added 20 points for Davis College, which improved to 3-0. Jess Hammersley added 10 points and a team-high 10 assists, and Kalesta Mead chipped in a team-high 13 rebounds.

Nov. 10, 2007: Lady Falcons Beat Christendom, 67-62

With injuries limiting Davis College to just six players, the Falcons rode Nikki Nesbit's 23 points to a 67-62 victory over visiting Christendom.

Davis College fell behind early and entered halftime down 33-24 against Christendom's 11-player lineup, but coach Debbie Bates saw a change in her team after the intermission.

"It's like they came out as a brand-new team after halftime," Bates said. "All of a sudden they just started working well, thinking, concentrating, making better passes and we just went on a run."

Nesbit was 3-for-5 from the foul line in the last 10 minutes.

Nov. 2, 2007: Falcons Pull Off Sweep, Win 71-62

Davis 71, Word Life 62: The backcourt tandem of Brittney Rowe and Jessica Hammersly combined for 51 points to lead Davis College (1-0) past Word of Life Bible Institute in a non-league game.

It was the opener for the Davis College women.

Hammersly, a guard, went 11-for-12 from the free-throw line and had 20 of 23 points in the second half. Rowe had a game-high 28 points.

"They're two of my four returning players," Davis College coach Debbie Bates said of Hammersly and Rowe. "We have a lot of freshman and not a deep bench so I didn't even sub for them, they played the whole game and led us offensively and defensively."
