game-high 24 points from Nikki Nesbit, Davis College lost at home to Lancaster Bible College. Nicole Karschner
had 20 points for Lancaster Bible College, and Lacy McClaine
added 19.
January 21, 2008: Lady Falcons Resume Season, Lose to
Word of Life
POTTERSVILLE -- After a seven-week, semester-break
layoff, both Davis College men's and women's basketball
teams returned to action Monday night. The Lady Falcons
lost in a non-league game vs. Word of Life Bible Institute,
62-49.
The Davis College women's team was
without Brittany Rowe, who was leading the team in points
and assists per game. She did not return to Davis College
for this semester, coach Debbie Bates said.
Jessica Hammersley, who replaced Rowe as
the starting point guard, scored a game-high 15 points for
Davis (4-5). Nikki Nesbit added 14 points.

LANCASTER, Pa. -- Despite
impressive 3-point shooting Saturday, Davis College lost at
Lancaster Bible College 62-51 in a National Christian
College Athletic Association Division II women's basketball
game.
Davis College's Falcons
held a five-point lead at halftime but Lancaster (2-4) made
a 12-2 run to take the lead for good.
Davis College (3-3) was
10-for-10 from three-point range but just 8-for-57 on
two-pointers. Jessica Hammersley led the way in 3-pointers
with five in scoring a game-high 20 points.

College Women Lose
JOHNSON CITY, NY -- Delhi native Meghan Taylor scored a team-high 19
points as the Tompkins Cortland Community College women's
basketball team overcame a nine-point halftime deficit to
top host Davis College 70-54 in a non-league game Tuesday.
Brittany Rowe scored a
game-high 23 points for the host Falcons (3-2), who led
30-21 at halftime. Rowe's fellow Harpursville native Nikki
Nesbit chipped in a team-high 12 rebounds to go along with
her nine points for Davis College.
Davis College coach Debbie
Bates said her team, which dressed just eight players, ran
out of gas in the second half. The Falcons weren't helped
either, she said, by a 10-for-23 showing at the foul line.
Nov. 19, 2007: Davis College Women Beaten
ALBANY -- Kassie White scored 17 points
Monday and was one of four Albany College of Pharmacy
players in doubles figures in an 86-25 non-league women's
college basketball victory over visiting Davis College.
Davis College (3-1), which was outscored
53-12 in the first half, was led by Brit Rowe's eight
points.
Davis College Women Romp in Basketball
WAYNE, Pa. -- Nikki Nesbit
scored a game-high 26 points, helping the Davis College
women's basketball team roll to a 74-11 win at Valley Forge
Military College on Wednesday.
Brit Rowe hit four
3-pointers and added 20 points for Davis College, which
improved to 3-0. Jess Hammersley added 10 points and a
team-high 10 assists, and Kalesta Mead chipped in a
team-high 13 rebounds.
The Davis College Falcons
are scheduled to next play at the Albany College of Pharmacy
on Monday night.
The men's basketball team
opens the three-day Valley Forge Tournament today in
Phoenixville, Pa.
Nov. 10, 2007: Lady
Falcons Beat Christendom, 67-62
With injuries limiting
Davis College to just six players, the Falcons rode Nikki
Nesbit's 23 points to a 67-62 victory over visiting
Christendom.
Davis College fell behind
early and entered halftime down 33-24 against Christendom's
11-player lineup, but coach Debbie Bates saw a change in her
team after the intermission.
"It's like they came out
as a brand-new team after halftime," Bates said. "All of a
sudden they just started working well, thinking,
concentrating, making better passes and we just went on a
run."
Nesbit was 3-for-5 from
the foul line in the last 10 minutes.

Win 71-62
Davis 71, Word Life 62:
The backcourt tandem of Brittney Rowe and Jessica Hammersly
combined for 51 points to lead Davis College (1-0) past Word
of Life Bible Institute in a non-league game.
It was the opener for the
Davis College women.
Hammersly, a guard, went
11-for-12 from the free-throw line and had 20 of 23 points
in the second half. Rowe had a game-high 28 points.
"They're two of my four
returning players," Davis College coach Debbie Bates said of
Hammersly and Rowe. "We have a lot of freshman and not a
deep bench so I didn't even sub for them, they played the
whole game and led us offensively and defensively."
