Speaking and Ministry Opportunities

Dr. Miller is in demand as a speaker at conferences nationally and internationally. Global opportunities for evangelism through ministry outreach have been a key part of Dr. Miller's presidency at Davis College. He has traveled to teach and minister in Russia (with SEND International) and South Africa (The BridgeLeader Network/World Vision), and is planning a trip to India in December 2006 with International Friendship Evangelism.

The primary focus of a college president, particularly at a Bible college, is to position the institution for future success, while preserving the rich heritage of the past. To accomplish this, Dr. Miller travels extensively meeting with donors and friends of the College to raise funds and share the vision of the College with supporters. Along with the commitment to continually improve and strengthen the College, one of Dr. Miller's great enjoyments is interacting with Davis College students.

Every Tuesday during the academic year is "President's Chapel", during which Dr. Miller addresses the student body, faculty, and staff of Davis College. Dr. Miller uses  biblical teaching and current technology to present God's Word in a way that students, staff, faculty and guests can appreciate and apply to life situations. Dr. Miller strives to prioritize his travel schedule to be on campus for Tuesday President's Chapel.

Dr. Miller has had the privilege of opening the New York State Senate in prayer, and has participated in Senate Prayer Breakfasts. He is involved in racial reconciliation with the BridgeLeader Network of Columbia, MD, and is on the board of International Friendship Evangelism. In July 2005, Dr. Miller was a presenter at the "Race for Unity" conference in Dallas, TX, with other Christian leaders including Tony Evans, Max Lucado, and David Anderson. He is co-editor of Hope Grows in Winter, published by Kregel Press, and authored the chapter, "The Tribulation", in Looking Ahead, a book on biblical prophecy published by Faithful Life Publishers
