Dr. George D. Miller III

Dr. George D. Miller III is the president of Davis College, located in Johnson City, New York. Davis College was founded in 1900 as a higher education institution committed to train men and women for a lifetime of professional service for Jesus Christ around the world. 

A graduate of Davis College, Dr. Miller holds a bachelors degree from Bryan College, Dayton, Tennessee, and earned the masters and doctorate degrees from Syracuse University. He has been an educator and trained Christian counselor with a substantial educational and experiential background. 

Prior to becoming the eighth president of Davis College, Dr. Miller was Vice President for Institutional Advancement, and previous to that served as Vice President for Student Affairs. Before coming to the College, he was pastor of the People's Baptist Church, Newfield, New York. He is frequently in demand as a conference speaker and consultant to churches and Christian organizations.                                                  

Dr. Miller has written numerous articles for periodicals on a wide variety of subjects pertaining to counseling. He is co-editor of Hope Grows in Winter, published by Kregel Press, and he recently authored the chapter, "The Tribulation", in Looking Ahead, a book on biblical prophecy published by Faithful Life Publishers

Dr. Miller has a passion for multicultural ministry and is involved in racial reconciliation activities internationally with Dr. David Anderson and the BridgeLeader Network

Dr. Miller is married to Elaine, an educational interpreter for the hearing impaired, and the father of three grown children.
