President's Advisory Council
The President's Advisory
Council is a channel for the involvement and networking of
distinguished Christian men and women who can provide
assistance and advice to the College in the area of
planning, promoting and resource development. Members are
selected from the business and professional community who
are interested in furthering the College's mission of
training men and women for a lifetime of ministry.
The Advisory Council at Davis
College was first implemented by our founder, Dr. John A.
Davis. A council of 100 key individuals, men and women, from
churches and the community, were a part of the original
President's Advisory Council. Records indicate that this
group was instrumental in promoting the vision of the
founder by making the campus a beacon for Christian
education, academic excellence, and proactive leadership.
Today, the President's Advisory
Council continues the visionary goal of the original Council
by impacting the College and the lives of students through
active support and campus involvement.
