Davis College - Pursue God

Office of the President

dp2011President’s Welcome

Welcome to Davis College. Since 1900 we have been Pursuing God! There are literally thousands of men and women around the world in ministry because of the education they have received at our institution. Formerly Practical Bible Training School, our college continues to be a place to receive the best of Biblical education in an environment that is a home away from home. Often graduates comment that they not only received an excellent education at Davis but they also found lifelong friends.  Davis has a full range of online classes and numerous teaching sites. You will find them plus our concentrations, courses, classes, events and numerous other activities on our website. I would also encourage you to check out my itinerary. I travel nearly every week speaking in conferences, conventions and churches. I look forward to meeting you in these venues. God bless you and thank you for connecting with us.

Books:

Dr. Pedrone’s latest books include “The Influence of Peter”: a verse by verse study of 1 and 2 Peter and  “He Must Be the One”: A verse by verse study of Colossians.

Religion abounds in the world. Why do Christians seem so set on the idea that there is no other way to God but their way? In the ancient book of Colossians of the New Testament there is a short four chapter presentation that addresses this most controversial question. Each section of the book focuses on a relationship with God and an awareness that religion is not enough.

In He Must Be The One, Dr. Pedrone presents in very practical terms a presentation of the uniqueness of the person and work of Jesus Christ that helps the reader stay focused on what is really important in the Christian walk. If Jesus is not the one, then religion must diligently be pursued to find a relationship with God. However, if Jesus is the One, it opens a new world to a relationship not just with God, but with people. He Must Be The One can be ordered through the Davis College Bookstore by calling 607.729.4494.
