Dr. Walt Schlundt will retire this summer after 42 years as a professor at Davis College.

Dr. Schlundt is a 1967 graduate of Davis College, which at the time was called Practical Bible Training School.  He has been teaching at the college since 1971 as a professor of Bible with an expertise in Greek.  He has impacted thousands of young men and women over the years with his passion for teaching.  He also currently serves as the pastor of Community Bible Church in Franklin, NY.

On April 23, 2013, Davis College celebrated Dr. Schlundt’s career with a special chapel remembering his service.  During the service it was announced that the college would be naming the Board Room in the Chatlos Library the Schlundt Conference Room.  In the 113 years of the college’s existence, Dr. Schlundt’s tenure is the second longest in the school’s history behind Marmion Lowe’s 49 years of service from 1926-1975 .
