Student Help Desk
Mission
Statement
The mission of
the Student Help Desk is to provide computer-related
assistance to students of Davis College. We are committed to
providing a reliable "single point of contact" by giving
courteous and prompt attention to each incoming request.
Our Work
The Student
Help Desk can assist with a variety of computer issues. Most
commonly, our student employees:

Troubleshoot software and hardware problems.

Resolve
Internet connection issues (wired and wireless)

Install
anti-virus and anti-spyware software to remove malicious
programs and prevent further infection

Identify
the cause of computer slowness and/or frequent errors

Answer
general computer questions
We do not
install of fix hardware, but we will troubleshoot a computer
to determine the problem. At this time, we do not work on
staff or faculty office computers. You must show a valid
Davis College student ID if you would like our help desk
employees to work on your computer.
