Computer Center
Davis College has a
20-station computer center using up-to-date software
technology. Using the K12-LTSP operating system, each
students has his or her own desktop, email, instant
messenger client, web favorites, document folder and much
more. Plus, the student has the option of languages in both
menus and typing. The system is based on Red Hat Fedora Core
3 Linux and is a terminal client to server.
The Computer Lab is also
used in some classroom instruction where the professor needs
to use hands-on learning for certain applications.
