Intramural Volleyball came to an end this week in dramatic fashion. There were many close games, some decided by only one point when the buzzer rang, but as with most tournaments there can be only one victor.... well six in the case of volleyball. I'll get the scores up for each game later, but congratulations to team two.

Our lady Falcons won their second consecutive home game today against Valley Forge in an 81-41 blowout. All of our ladies played wonderfully and worked together for a very impressive win.
So far we've seen only encouragement for a great season. Keep it up ladies!
Our men played the Tyndale Talons in two consecutive days, last friday and saturday, and unfortunately were unable to secure their first home win. Friday's final was 78-68 Tyndale, and Saturdays game ended with another Falcon defeat 69-54.
Though our boys didn't get it done on the court, every mistake is an opportunity to learn, and I'm sure our boys will come away even stronger.

Week six... it really doesn't seem like week six... went off without a hitch today. Despite the lack of spectators for the latest game, there was a healthy dose of amazingness from all six teams for the mirth of all. There were no injuries this week, praise God, and as a matter of updating Jared Fisher has jumped back --pun intended-- from his twisted ankle nicely.
Scores were as follows
Match 1
Team 3 edges out team 4 2 games to 1
game 1 Game 2 Game 3
30-17 30-24 28-29
Match 2
Team 5 usurped team 6 2 games to 1
Game 1 Game 2 Game 3
30-25 27-26 19-30
Match 3
Team 2 Upsets the first placed team 1 2 games to 1
Game 1 Game 2 Game 3
23-20 27-26 30-22
Best of luck to all next week :)

Our Lady Falcons hosted the Word of Life Bible Institute Huskies today, and came away with a 54-49 win, their first of the season.
After finishing the first half with a 30-12 lead the Huskies looked as though they might be coming back. After a few calls which most of the Falcons' fans did not admire, a coule of our ladies were on the bench with five fouls; leaving the shallow Falcon bench devoid of eligable players.
Fortunately our five remaining ladies were able to hang on for the close win.
Our ladies play again on November 7th at Central Pennsylvania College in Harrisburg PA. Hopefully they'll make it a streak and bring home another win! Best of luck ladies, our prayers are with you!
