Valerie O’Neill

Valerie (Hollister) O’Neill will enter her first season as the head women’s volleyball coach after serving one year as an assistant coach on the 2013 team.  Her vast experience as a player and passion as a coach make her a perfect fit to lead the 2014 squad in their first year in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).

Valerie received her Liberal Arts degree in 2001 from Broome Community College.  She received her Bachelor degree in Early Childhood and Childhood Education in 2005 and her Masters degree in Literacy Birth-6th grade from SUNY Cortland in 2009.  She is currently employed at Endicott First Presbyterian Nursery School as a UPK teacher and a Project Assistant.  Valerie played volleyball throughout High School and college and has been a part of a IREVA volleyball team for 4 years and actively continues to play in competitive and semi-competitive volleyball leagues.

Valerie is married and has two young children. She is a active member of Endicott First Baptist Church of Endicott and currently serves as a Deacon at the church.
