The Students'
League of Many Nations

This photo
is from the 1928 Theologue. The Students' League of Many
Nations began on Thanksgiving Day, November 1922. It became
known as the "greatest one night service on the platform"
during its ministry. The group traveled under the leadership
of Dr. John A. Davis, and in later years under the direction
of the Rev. M. C. Patterson, witnessing for Christ. The 1935
Theologue says of the group, "The spiritual results cannot
be estimated, only time and eternity can reveal them." The
League traveled nationally and internationally,
sharing the Gospel, and each student spoke about their own
heritage.
The 1926
Theologue tells that "on the first southern trip, President
Coolidge received the students at the White House. Senators,
judges, and governors have heard this service, and recommend
it very highly."
The League ended in the 1950's -- however, its
testimony and rich impact upon lives remains uniquely
engraved upon the hearts of people around the world.
