The 2007 Leadership Forum took place on Thursday, September 27, 2007 with Rev. H. B. London, Vice President of Church, Clergy, and Medical Outreach for Focus on the Family. [ Read Rev. London's Biosketch ]. Pastors, leaders, alumni, and prospective students enjoyed the day's sessions. Rev. London spoke on  Maintaining a Passion for One's Assignment, Creating and Nurturing a Moral Compass for Leadership, and Checking the Gauges.

7:00 PM: Pastor Brian Mentzer, Senior Pastor of Riverdale Baptist Church in Upper Largo, Maryland, and member of the Davis College Board of Trustees spoke.

9 AM: Pastor Bill Boulet, Senior Pastor of Heritage Baptist Church in Lakeland, Florida, and member of the Davis College Board of Trustees spoke.

10:30 AM: President's Address took place with Dr. George D. Miller III ('72).

An offering was taken for the 2007-2008 Alumni Project, the renovation of the "Class of 1923 Bell". During the offeratory, an Alumni Quartet was led by Dr. Brent Young. The group included Vincent Griffis ('67), Ken Garner ('73), Kris Shaw ('97), and Brent Young ('83).

  • Morning Devotions and Prayer, 9-10 AM, took place with Dr. Walt Schlundt ('67), followed by brunch.

  • 11 AM Lady Falcons Volleyball Game vs. Tompkins Cortland Community College

  • 1 PM Falcons Soccer Game vs. Valley Forge Christian College
