Goal: TESL Instructor/College Professor
Education Path:
Christian Counseling
Concentration at Davis
Meet an Alumnus: Julie Lewis is a 1999 Davis College
Counseling Program graduate who completed her master's in education
through the University of Phoenix. She is currently an adjunct
professor in English as a Second Language (ESL) at Binghamton
University.
In Julie's Words: "*The Teaching English as a Second Language
(TESL) Certificate at Davis College was the perfect fit for
me to fill in the gap between my ESL teaching experience and my lack
of formal education in TESL. As a current adjunct professor in ESL
at Binghamton University, I have been able to readily implement the
very practical tools and techniques taught in the TESL Program at
Davis. Every single class has contributed to my effectiveness and
ability to teach English as a second language."
