Dozens of undergraduate transfer students enroll at Davis College each year.  We look for academic excellence, but we also look for gifted individuals who will contribute to the life of Davis College.  We will review your entire college program, including the rigor of your courses, your grades, writing ability, and your extracurricular, community, and Church related service activities.

As a transfer student you may begin your academic work at the beginning of any semester. We work on a rolling Admissions policy. First come first serve. We will notify you of our admission decision as soon as possible after all necessary documents have been received. If you have any questions or concerns regarding transferring to Davis College, please email admissions@davisny.edu or call the Office of Admissions at 1.877.WHYDC4U (877.949.3248).

Transfer Application Checklist

  • Complete the Application for Admission:

    • Submit the Application Online (Free), or

    • Download and print out the application.

      • Free if turned in to the admissions office in person

      • Send via mail: Please submit with $25 fee, check made out ot Davis College, 400 Riverside Drive, Johnson City, NY 13790.

  • Official college transcripts from each college or university you have previously attended should be sent directly to Davis College. 

  • International Students: Click Here.

  • Send SAT and/or ACT Scores: Scores are considered official if reported on the official high school transcript or received directly from a testing agency. Davis College SAT code is 2233 and the ACT code is 2710. Links: ACT | SAT

  • Send Official High School Transcripts or GED

    • Home schooled students may submit a letter from their Superintendent of Schools, stating that they have met all requirements of their state's laws for secondary education, or a GED.

  • Send Pastor's Recommendation Form (Download Now in PDF)

  • Complete and send in Medical Forms. Click Here to get the forms in PDF Format.

  • Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA code for Davis College is 015291.

  • Fill out the Virtual Financial Aid Office paperwork (VFAO).

Application Deadlines: Davis College operates on a rolling admissions policy which means we will review your application and make an admission decision once all necessary materials have been received.

Provisional Acceptance: When the application, the application fee, pastor's recommendation, and the high school transcripts have been received by the Office of Admissions, the applicant will be considered for provisional acceptance. College transcripts, medical forms, SAT/ACT scores, and enrollment deposit must be received before the applicant will be considered for full acceptance.

Full Acceptance: When the required forms and fees have been received by the Office of Admissions, the applicant will be considered for admission to Davis College. If there are specific concerns or questions about an individual's file, the Admissions Committee will meet and decide if full acceptance is to be granted.
