Federal Student Aid
Pell Grants
— The Pell Grant
Program is a Title IV federal student aid program. Pell
Grants provide money to help students pay for their
education after high school. Unlike loans, grants do not
have to be paid back. The Pell Grant is available to
undergraduate students enrolled in at least three credit
hours in a program leading to graduation. To apply for the
Pell Grant you must submit the Free Application for Federal
Student Aid (FAFSA). For more information concerning Pell
Grants contact the Office of Financial Aid. Second Pell
award in the same award year: For Summer 2010, which is
considered a crossover period, students will be awarded from
the 2009-10 year unless awarding from the 2010-11 year would
provide a greater benefit for the student.
