International Studies

Do you believe God is calling you to serve in an international ministry setting? Look no further than Davis College! The International Studies major will prepare the graduate for a lifetime of ministry and service anywhere in the world.  You will study cross-cultural communication, cultural anthropology and world religions which will prepare you to engage the culture in which you are living. Being knowledgeable about world views and belief systems will help you minister in a personal way. Courses designed to enhance ministry skills such as church planting, evangelism, discipleship and linguistics round out the curriculum. Davis College makes short term ministry opportunities available to give the student first hand experience in a foreign culture context.  

The International Studies program is enhanced through international chapels, missionary speakers and a global ministries emphasis throughout the academic year. You will see and hear first hand about human needs all around the world. You will enjoy face to face conversations with experts in this field of study who will advise and assist you in fulfilling your passion in Christian reconciliation ministry.
