Purpose and Objectives
Purpose:
The AAS
degree in Early Childhood Administration is a 70 your
program with a 28-hour Early childhood Administration major.
It is designed for students who plan to serve in an early
childhood setting in a local church or parachurch
organization. Graduates of this program will be prepared to
minister, organize, supervise, and administer a preschool
children's program.
Objectives:
In addition
to the educational objectives of the College, the student
graduating from the Early Childhood Education Administration
program will be able to:

Demonstrate an understanding of the various early
childhood ministries of the local church and typical
ministries existing in a para-church setting.

Articulate a sound philosophy of ministering in the
early childhood setting.

Demonstrate the ability to design, observe, teach,
supervise, and administer all aspects of an early
childhood ministry program.

Demonstrate the ability to minister to the parent or
caregiver responsible for the children placed under the
care of the early childhood ministry.
