A Message from Mrs. Sheila Flipse

Counseling

Greetings! Thank you for visiting the Counseling web site of Davis College. Our counseling courses focus on the understanding of human behavior from a biblical perspective, and are both theoretical and practical. Counseling students at Davis study both Christian and secular systems of counseling. By the senior year, the student will be able to articulate a sound philosophy of biblical counseling. During the senior year, the student completes an intensive internship where they can practice the skills they have learned in the classroom.  To see what graduates may choose to pursue with this degree, Click Here.

Sheila and Bud Flipse were counselors at the Franklin Graham Festival held in Binghamton, June 2007.

Professor Flipse had the opportunity to represent Davis College at Moody Bible Institute's inauguration of President Michael J. Easley (September 8, 2005, at Chicago's Moody Church). Chuck Swindoll was the guest speaker, and over 35 delegates from Christian colleges and universities participated in the Academic Processional.

Jerry B. Jenkins, co-author of the Left Behind Series, was the guest speaker at the Banquet on September 9, 2005, at the Rosemont Convention Center in Chicago.
