Erin Jacob, Class of 2007
I have greatly benefited from the
counseling program here at
Davis
College. I learned a lot
about people, and am sure that what I have learned
both inside and outside of the classroom will prove
useful in whatever vocation of ministry God places
me in throughout the rest of my life.

George Kalaras, Class of 2007
"The
counseling program at Davis College has given me a
biblical view towards people. It has prepared me
through prayer and guidance from the Holy Spirit to
pursue graduate studies at Philadelphia Biblical
University." |

Kevin Hope, Class of 2006
"The Counseling program has grounded me firmly in
diversity, theories, and skills necessary to work
immediately in the mental health field and qualified
me to attend the graduate program of my choice at
Seton Hall University. The director and staff of the
counseling program are qualified, motivated, and
exhibit a godly attitude both in and out of the
classroom. They successfully steered me in a
direction that enabled me to realize my career
goals."

Tim Young, Class of 2005
"My four years at Davis were centered on the counseling department. This
program not only gave me direction for my future
but aided me in my, at times perilous, journey
toward a Bachelors degree after being out of
school for twenty years.
The
assistance that the counseling department gave
to me is invaluable. The training I received has
given me insight into how better to serve those
in need. The classes not only taught me how to
better help those in difficult situations but
made me look at my own life in a different
light. Without understanding ourselves and
realizing that we too are fallible human beings
it is most difficult to see others in a holistic
perspective.
I am now working with children that have been
physically, sexually, and/or emotionally abused."

Emily
Phillips, Class of 2004
"The
Counseling Program at Davis equipped me with a firm Biblical
foundation on which to give help and hope to those in need.
Since graduation, I have continued to work with special
needs children and also as a nanny. As I look toward future
ministries, I recognize that my time at Davis enriched my
passion for helping others. The dedication shown by the
professors at Davis set a great example for me as I desire
to dedicate my life to Lord by showing Christ's' love and
help for others."

Allan F. Anderson, Class of
2003,
USAF TSgt
"I
am a Master of Arts counseling major at Liberty University
in Lynchburg, VA. Davis College did an excellent job of
providing me with the necessary counseling courses at the
undergraduate level for studies in this career field. My
work with at risk youth as a substitute teacher is very
rewarding."

Lindsey
Olsen, Class of 2004
"Davis'
Counseling program has equipped me with a balanced and
Scripture-based foundation enabling me to move confidently
into helping ministries. Since graduation, I have worked in
the AmeriCorps as a college preparation counselor for
underprivileged and low-income high school students.
Currently, I am writing a sex education curriculum for high
school students through REACH Ministries, located in Tacoma,
Washington. Davis College was a divine stepping stone that
has catapulted me into my calling."
