Worship and Ministry Emphasis Week
January 17-20, 2006
Churches are
increasingly using the arts as a tool to facilitate worship
and minister to God's people. The Creative Arts
Emphasis Week at Davis College highlights an exciting
program that is designed to prepare students to minister in
the church and church related organizations through the arts,
and lead in the development and implementation of creative
arts programs.
Along with our student musicians, guests
for the week included worship leader Jon Waller (Bridgeway
Community Church, Columbia, MD),
Pastor Chris
Schumske (New
Life Methodist Church, Endicott, NY,
speaking on Creative Arts),
Tamara Cole (adjunct professor of voice at Davis College), and
drummer Peter
Boris from Endicott, NY.
