Davis College
Davis College
is located in Johnson City, Greater Binghamton, Broome
County, New York State. We are only one hour from Syracuse
and Elmira, New York; three hours from New York City, and
one hour from Scranton, Pennsylvania (as well as the
Wilkes-Barre Scranton International Airport). One of America's oldest Christian
colleges, Davis College exists to train men and women for
servant leadership in the church, Christian organizations,
and society through academic excellence in biblical higher
education. Davis College is regionally accredited by Middle States
Commission on Higher Education, and nationally by the Association for
Biblical Higher Education.
Staying true to
our historic past and the visionary leadership of our
founder, Dr. John A. Davis, students at Davis College major
in Bible as they prepare to serve Jesus Christ. They also
choose to study a concentration from the following areas:
Counseling, TESL (Teaching English as a Second
Language), Organizational Leadership, Creative Arts and Drama in Worship, Pastoral Studies
(including Greek & Hebrew studies), Youth Ministries, Early
Childhood Education Administration, International
Studies, or Christian Ministries. Students can
specialize in courses relating to Urban Ministry and Church
Planting. Courses are offered on our beautiful main campus
situated on the banks of the Susquehanna River in the
Greater Binghamton area, and through
extension sites in other cities in New York State including
Albany and Syracuse. Students
can take online courses at Davis College through the COCC
(Consortium of Christian Colleges), and benefit from the wireless
Internet classrooms and campus.
As the College
continually strives for excellence in all areas, the campus
and local community benefit from the College's strategic
partnerships with businesses, churches, and individuals who
support the vision of growth and expansion under the
leadership of our president, Dr. George D. Miller III.
Thank you for your interest in this special place with a
special purpose -- biblical higher education in preparation
for ministry.
