A Special Day

In Memory of Rev. Carlton and Jessie Carpenter, Class of 1941

Beginning this year we will be honoring a pastor and his wife for their faithfulness to the local church at the annual Pastors and Leaders Conference. This year, the Board of Trustees of Davis College has declared March 20, 2012 to be Carlton and Jessie Carpenter Day at Davis College.

Carlton Carpenter passed away on July 19, 2011 after a lifetime of service to Jesus Christ. It was Rev. Carpenter’s wish that a gift  be made to the endowment fund of Davis College. Consequently, a fund was set up in the name of Rev. Carlton and Jessie Carpenter for scholarship assistance to current and future students preparing for a career in full-time Christian service.

Davis College is honored to celebrate Rev. and Mrs. Carpenter's legacy through this scholarship that will nurture Christian young people serving God.
